Set among the old berry fields west of Blairgowrie, this recently refurbished bungalow snuggles into the hillside. The spectacular 270 degree views of the hills behind Dunkeld extend around to the Sidlaw Hills behind Coupar Angus.

No longer a working farm, Berrybrae Farm is now the home of Nick and Airin Gilmour and family, who run Batavia, the Indonesian furniture shop based in Dunkeld and Ballinluig.

The bungalow, along with other farm buildings, was refurbished during autumn 2004. The open-plan living / dining room / kitchen ceates a large, family space. New carpets have been laid throughout, and all the fittings are also new, including the hand-made kitchen created by local furniture maker, John Cull. Unsurprisingly, items of Indonesian furniture have been used to decorate the property and give it a very individual feel.

Berrybrae has been featured in 'Scotland on Sunday' and 'Ideal Home Magazine'.
