Welcome to Highland Perthshire ... Located at the gateway to the Highlands, the popular Highland Perthshire village of Dunkeld, makes an ideal base for visitors wishing to tour Scotland.
Locally, there is so much to do that you may prefer not to travel farther afield. For outdoor enthusiasts, the surrounding countryside is both scenic and accessible. Excellent walking can be had from within the village itself, whether it be a pleasant riverside stroll along the banks of the Tay - past the Birnam Oaks made famous by the witches' prophecy in Shakespeare's Macbeth - an envigorating climb to the top of Birnam Hill, a wander through the Square to the Cathedral and Stanley Hill, or a longer walk along the Inchewan Burn to the waterfall and reservoir. We offer a choice of two self catering holiday properties: Bridge Street in Dunkeld, sleeping up to ten, and Berrybrae near Blairgowrie, sleeping four.
